Sussex Cancer Fund is delighted to once again support the 2nd Brighton Tumour Microenvironment Conference, taking place on 12th and 13th October 2026 at the Leonardo Royal Hotel Brighton Waterfront.
Following the success of the first conference in 2024, this exciting two-day event will bring together leading researchers, clinicians, scientists and healthcare professionals from across the UK and around the world to explore some of the latest developments in cancer research.
The conference will focus on the tumour microenvironment and the important role it plays in cancer growth, progression and treatment response. Sessions throughout the programme will explore topics including extracellular matrix dynamics, immune and tumour interactions, tumour angiogenesis, the perivascular niche and emerging therapeutic targets.
Attendees can expect an inspiring programme featuring internationally recognised speakers, cutting-edge research presentations, networking opportunities and collaborative discussions designed to help drive future breakthroughs in cancer treatment and care.
As a local charity committed to investing in the future of cancer care through research and innovation, Sussex Cancer Fund is proud to support opportunities that encourage collaboration and showcase the outstanding cancer research taking place here in Sussex and beyond.
The first Brighton Tumour Microenvironment Conference was praised for its welcoming atmosphere, high-quality scientific content and strong spirit of collaboration. We are excited to see the event return even bigger for 2026.
Whether you are a researcher, clinician, healthcare professional or student with an interest in cancer science, this conference promises to be a fantastic opportunity to learn, connect and share ideas with others working in the field.
