Brighton Marathon Weekend returns on Sunday 4 April 2027, and we would love as many people as possible to join Team Sussex Cancer Fund for what promises to be an epic day!
Choose between the iconic Brighton Marathon and the fast, lively Brighton & Hove 10K. Whether you are an experienced runner, chasing a new personal best or setting yourself a brand-new challenge, this is your chance to experience Brighton at its very best while supporting people affected by cancer across Sussex.
With thousands of participants, incredible crowds and a spectacular coastal setting, Brighton Marathon Weekend is always special. For Sussex Cancer Fund, it means even more: Brighton is our home city, where our charity began and where much of our work continues today.

Brighton & Hove 10K
Enjoy all the atmosphere of Brighton Marathon Weekend over a more accessible 10K distance. The fast, largely flat coastal course is ideal for first-time event runners, groups of friends, workplace teams and anyone hoping to achieve a new personal best.

Why run for Sussex Cancer Fund?
Sussex Cancer Fund works with NHS teams throughout Sussex to provide practical support, specialist equipment, improved facilities, patient services and locally based cancer research.
Your fundraising could help us to:
- Provide free parking for people attending cancer appointments and treatment
- Fund services including acupuncture, massage therapy, life coaching, exercise programmes, mindfulness and dance therapy
- Improve waiting rooms, counselling rooms and treatment spaces
- Purchase specialist equipment that NHS budgets cannot always cover
- Support promising cancer research taking place here in Sussex
- Provide everyday comforts, from refreshments and dignity gowns to more welcoming hospital environments
