A little time for creativity: discover Art, Mind & Soul’s welcoming sessions
Having some time to yourself, enjoying a creative activity and connecting with other people can be a welcome part of the week. Art, Mind & Soul CIC offers free Creative Mindfulness sessions in Sussex, bringing people together in a welcoming, supportive setting.
The sessions are open to everyone. We particularly wanted to share them with people having cancer treatment, those who have finished treatment, and anyone caring for someone affected by cancer.
Creativity and connection
Art, Mind & Soul is a not-for-profit community interest company founded by Leigh-Anna, an art practitioner with more than 20 years’ experience in community art. Its work centres on giving people space to express themselves, explore creativity and make connections with others. The team also makes use of reused and recycled materials wherever possible.
For anyone affected by cancer, a creative session could offer a chance to focus on something enjoyable, spend time in company and have a little space away from everyday pressures. Carers are welcome too.
Where and when do the sessions take place?
The group currently lists two regular Thursday sessions, both free and supported by The National Lottery Community Fund. Everyone is welcome.
