Some of you may remember our young supporter Jack Chaplin, whose previous fundraising efforts for the Sussex Cancer Fund in memory of his Grandmother, Jackie Bishop, saw him create his own ride on railway and Christmas extravaganza. Jack, has again been raising money together with friends and family, with another Railway Open Day.
Jack worked hard over the summer to extend and develop his garden railway and around 50 family and friends came for a train ride, refreshments, and go on the tombola.His sister and cousins sold train tickets for rides, Jack and two of his friends drove their trains and other family and friends provided refreshments including a range of scrumptious homemade cakes.Jack said he is so thankful for all the support his family and friends have given him and thrilled to have raised so much money for the Sussex Cancer Fund.
