Debbie won a place in the London Marathon through her running club! She didn’t feel she could attempt this challenge without trying to raise some money. Sussex Cancer Fund is her
Her husband, Robbie had and beat cancer. She expresses that during that period was the very worst of times. Going on to say “as soon as the words ‘it’s cancer’ are spoken, your world implodes.” Thankfully Rob received immediate treatment, he is fighting fit and has been clear of cancer for several years.
Her choice to raise money for Sussex Cancer Fund is to help those affected by cancer. Due to us being a small charity in Brighton, working alongside the NHS and helping provide equipment, staff, and a base for those fighting cancer.
