Steve became a Trustee in 2023 after retiring from a career in IT operations and programme management within the financial sector. He now leads on SCF’s research programme, working closely with the Association of Medical Research Charities and the Sussex Cancer Research Centre. His focus is on robust project selection and funding high-quality cancer research with real-world impact. Steve is committed to ensuring research directly benefits local patients and contributes meaningfully to cancer care.
