We Love Sussex Poetry Book
We invited the children of Sussex to write poems about 'Why They Love Sussex'. The children's ages range from 6 to 16 and are residents from all over Sussex. The proceeds from the book will help the Sussex Cancer Fund's aim of providing the best possible cancer care to the people of Sussex.
The 'We Love Sussex Poetry Book' is a celebration of the county we love and are proud to serve, written by local children.

Dame Jacqueline Wilson DBE, FRSL wrote her first novel when she was nine years old, & she has been writing ever since. She is now one of Britain's bestselling & most beloved children's authors. She has written over 100 books & is the creator of characters such as Tracy Beaker & Hetty Feather.
Jill Hucklesby, Sussex Author & Producer, writing for Teens & Younger Readers. Jill started her writing career at the tender age of five. She has written for stage & children's television & was nominated for the Television Arts Performance Showcase comedy writing award at BAFTA. As well as winning & being nominated for many leading literature awards.
Dr Ollie Minton
Dr Ollie Minton, Director of Cancer Services, University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust. Ollie is also a Consultant & honorary senior lecturer in palliative medicine & has published a number of research papers with the aim of improving quality of life & patient care.
