You simply sign up to Thrift+ and select the Sussex Cancer Fund as your chosen charity, they will send you a bag or box to put your unwanted quality items into. You then choose whether to drop off your items at one of their local collection points or arrange for home collection.
Thrift+ then take your donated items and sell them on your behalf. After taking a processing fee the money raised goes to your charity, or you can choose to split the money raised between yourself and the Sussex Cancer Fund, so you get some credit back to spend in their fabulous Thrift+ Boutique. The Thrift+ Boutique has some fantastic quality second-hand clothes at great prices, so you could pick up a bargain or two.
Unfortunately, they don’t accept children’s cloths or budget brands, but any good quality shoes, accessories, adult clothes from High Street or Designer Brands are most welcome.
The Sussex Cancer Fund is a small charity and doesn’t have the resources to run a charity shop so Thrift+ could be the answer, it will help raise much-needed funds to help cancer patients on Sussex and help the environment by stopping items going to landfill.
