The Sussex Cancer Fund is delighted to have been nominated as one of the charities being supported by the Seaford Striders and their annual Mince Pie Ten Mile Race.
The race is the Seaford Striders’ main fundraiser and supports a range of charities and this year the Sussex Cancer Fund has been included. It is a very popular run and has been voted one of the UK’s top ten races by Runner’s World Magazine. The race attracts individuals and teams keen to undertake the 10-mile challenge in festive fancy dress as well as competitive runners. Last year’s event included runners dressed as a turkey, Christmas puddings and even a Christmas tree.
The Mince Pie 10 starts and finishes at Peacehaven Leisure Centre before heading into countryside stretches around Telscombe and Saltdean.
