Charity Cricket Day in Memory of Maggie Smith – Saturday 13th September

We’re excited to invite you to a special Charity Cricket Day in loving memory of Maggie Smith, taking place on Saturday 13th September at St James Montefiore Cricket Club, Keymer Road, Ditchling.

This wonderful event will celebrate Maggie’s life while raising vital funds for the Sussex Cancer Fund to help support cancer patients across Sussex. It promises to be a fantastic day of sport, community spirit, and remembrance.

📍 Location: St James Montefiore Cricket Club, Keymer Road, Ditchling
🗓 Date: Saturday 13th September 2025
⏰ Time: First match starts at 11:30am, with activities running until around 6pm

Whether you’re a cricket fan or just fancy a day out with friends and family, everyone is welcome. All proceeds will go to the Sussex Cancer Fund to help improve facilities, fund therapies, and support services for local people going through cancer.

This event is held in memory of Maggie Smith, who was a much-loved part of our community. Maggie’s family and friends wanted to mark her memory with a day that reflects her love of togetherness, sunshine, and laughter – and we’re proud to be part of it.
