We would like to extend a massive thank you to Barbara Hames, her family and friends who held a charity bingo night at the Maple Drive Football Club in Burgess Hill. Barbara is due to finish treatment here at the Sussex Cancer Centre shortly and as a ‘GiveBack’ to the Staff and Centre, she organised a bingo event.
Assisted by Barbara’s daughter, Mel Bridger, they managed to get a great range of prizes from local businesses including a voucher from Greggs, donations from Pets Corner, UK Cookshop as well as Younique Makeup.
The fun event held on 2nd February was very well attended and they managed to raise £435 for the Sussex Cancer Fund.
We would like to especially thank Barbara, Barbara’s husband Anthony and Mel but also all those that took part on the night or donated prizes.
