Abdi Ahmed a Therapeutic Radiographer based at Eastbourne District Hospital is walking from Brighton to Eastbourne to raise money for the Sussex Cancer Fund. Abdi is hoping the route will take 7 hours to complete on the 11th September.
Part of his inspiration for completing the challenge is a quote from Mother Teresa “It’s not how much we give but how much love we put into giving.” This is a mantra that we at the Sussex Cancer Fund completely support. Our very low overheads mean we can make every donation we receive go a long way, whether it is buying new lifesaving equipment, paying for additional services for patients or supporting cancer research projects. We are so grateful to all our supporters for their support and commitment in helping us do our work.
