At Sussex Cancer Fund, we know that even the smallest changes can make a real difference to the wellbeing of staff and patients.

We are delighted to have recently purchased a new microwave for the staff at the Sussex Cancer Centre. While it may seem like a simple addition, it is one that will make a big impact. Staff have been without a microwave for some time, which meant they were unable to enjoy hot meals during their breaks on long, often challenging shifts.

With the colder months on the way, having access to hot food is not only a comfort but also helps ensure staff are well looked after as they continue to provide the very best care for local cancer patients.

Supporting staff comfort and wellbeing is a vital part of our mission. The teams at the Sussex Cancer Centre work tirelessly for their patients every single day, and we are proud to play a small part in making their working lives a little easier.
